Tiger Creek Animal Sanctuary

Hi, I’m Shelby Cameron, Administrative Assistant and part of the Event Coordination Team here at Tiger Creek Animal Sanctuary. I get to blend my love for wildlife conservation with my passion for community outreach by planning events, building partnerships, and creating hands-on educational experiences for guests of all ages.

With a background in wildlife rehab and exotic animal care, I believe in the power of connecting people with animals to inspire compassion and action. Whether I’m organizing a festival, collaborating with local businesses, or brainstorming enrichment for a tiger, no two days are ever the same and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

Outside of work, you’ll usually find me exploring East Texas with my three kids, photographing the hidden beauty of the Piney Woods, or proudly defending the misunderstood opossum.
