The CDC advises that older adults and people of any age who have serious underlying medical conditions might be at higher risk for severe illness from Coronavirus. Guests should evaluate their own risk in determining whether to attend. People who show no symptoms can spread Coronavirus if they are infected, any interaction with the public poses an elevated risk of being exposed to Coronavirus. By coming to the event, you acknowledge and agree that you assume these inherent risks associated with attendance.
Guests are asked not to attend if they are running a fever, have COVID-19 Symptoms, or anyone in the household has shown symptoms of or has COVID-19. We also ask that you not attend if you are awaiting test results or have not completed your 14 day quarantine. Social Distancing will be encouraged by anyone attending and we also encourage you to wear a mask.
Fees/Admission
The LACC recognizes that we are all navigating Covid-19 together and trying to make the best decisions for our customers, employees, and the community. The LACC board of directors held it's monthly meeting Thursday, June 25, 2020 and the rodeo and concerns for safety was one of the big topics. We are committed to hosting the Lindale Rodeo August 6-8, 2020 at the Crossbrand Cowboy Arena, but we are looking at options to keep everyone sponsoring and attending safe. Last year we distributed 7500 tickets for adult presale, 3200 free kids tickets, and 2500 sponsor tickets. Based on past attendance we knew that all tickets would not be purchased/used, but were available for our guests. This year with the Covid-19 rules and regulations, we must account for every ticket available and ensure that our Rodeo Arena Occupancy is in compliance with the Governor's and Smith County guideline. On Thursday the Rodeo Arena's could operate at 75% capacity which for Crossbrand Cowboy Church is approximately 2,000 guests. After much discussion we have made the decision to have adult ticket sponsors and kids ticket sponsors this year, but not have physical tickets. We are going to allow all guests to come to the rodeo each night and get in for FREE thanks to the sponsorship, but a ticket will not be required. It will be on a first come, first serve bases and when we have reached the occupancy regulations we will "close the gates." We hope this will also eliminate some of the contact, spread of the virus, and allow additional social distancing measures.
